Marshall D. Williams

Marshall D. Williams, 45, of Du Quoin, passed away at 12:27 P.M., Tuesday, June 3, 2003 at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in Carbondale, IL.
Marshall worked as a blasting supervisor for the coal mines.  He was presently working as a Technical Sales Representative at Kintex, Inc. in Kentucky.  He was a member of Sunfield Methodist Church.
He was born July 14, 1957 at Valdosta, GA, the son of Paul and Emma (Bean) Williams.
He married Tammy Eaton on April 25, 1980 at Du Quoin and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Du Quoin, one son - Lcpl Marshall Tyrel Williams and wife Tabitha of New Rivers, NC, one daughter - Kylee Christine Williams of Du Quoin, parents - Paul and Emma Williams of Du Quoin, two brothers - Richard Jefferson Williams of Du Quoin, and Murray Cameron Williams and wife Marie of Sesser, IL, grandmother - Flora Belle Bean of Norris City, IL, father-in-law and mother-in-law - Robert and Dona Eaton of Du Quoin, brother-in-law - Robbie Eaton and wife Lori of Du Quoin, sister-in-laws - Sabrina Harris and husband Gary of Du Quoin, and Jacque Ford and husband Nyle of Du Quoin, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and paternal grandparents.
Funeral services were at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, June 7, 2003 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Jerry Dunn and Rev. Shane Bishop officiating.
Friends called from 5 to 8 P.M., Friday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.
Interment was in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
Friends may make memorials to Sunfield Methodist Church or the Education Fund for Kylee Williams.
